Description:
This report focuses on the abuse of the Palestinians’ rights in the areas of housing, employment, healthcare and education and the plight of so-called ID Palestinians- those without any official registration. While recognising that Lebanon has shown great generosity towards Palestinians over the years, the report condemns these discriminatory restrictions they face and calls on the authorities to end them. It also calls on the international community to help find a durable solution for Palestinian refugees that fully respects and protects their human rights, including their right to return, and to provide financial and technical assistance to Lebanon to enable it to extend the highest possible level of protection to its Palestinian refugee population.
